Fiba Salon İKSV, the performance venue of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) in Şişhane, welcomes audiences throughout the year with a programme ranging from contemporary music and theatre to literature and talks.
When İKSV moved from Luvr Apartments on İstiklal Avenue to Deniz Palas in Şişhane in 2010, the decision was made to establish a performance venue on the ground floor, focusing primarily on contemporary music. During its first season, Midlake, The Notwist, Lali Puna and many more took to the Salon stage. Rising names from the Nordic contemporary music scene were regularly featured. Through dozens of talks, numerous theatre productions, film programmes, National Theatre Live screenings and much more, Salon steadily broadened its artistic scope. In 2017, Salon began presenting one-day programmes at venues beyond its permanent home, and in 2022 launched Gezgin Salon Festival, drawing an audience of 20,000.
In July 2026, following the long-term partnership launched with Fiba Group, the venue took on its new name Fiba Salon İKSV and is preparing to welcome audiences with a more extensive and diverse programme. In addition to Eczacıbaşı Youth Ticket, xa limited number of tickets for all events will be available to students at a 50% discount throughout the season, reflecting a shared with Fiba Group to increase young people’s access to cultural events.
Alongside concerts, the new season will feature theatre productions, literary talks, thought-provoking discussions exploring current issues in science, and jazz club nights. Salon will welcome audiences more frequently throughout the year and will also develop new productions together with İKSV's festivals and the Istanbul Biennial.
A member of the Live DMA network, Salon participates in the Live Style Europe project, which is co-funded by Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
